Zerella Market Series Packing Shed Grenache Mataro Shiraz 2021

An intriguing and harmonious blend of Grenache, Mataro, and Shiraz, each variety contributing its unique character. Bright garnet in colour, with lifted aromas of red currant and spice. The palate is rich, rounded, and complex, offering a soothing savoury texture and seamless balance.

Grapes were hand-picked, sorted, and destemmed into open-top fermenters, then cold soaked for five days. A 20-day fermentation followed before pressing to seasoned oak barrels for 15 months' maturation on lees. Bottled without fining or filtration to preserve purity and texture.
