Woodvale Vintners Spring Garden Shiraz 2022

An inky crimson in colour with dark fruits, riper plum and chocolate notes wrapped up within a veneer of quality French oak and gentle tannins. Cellaring potential of at least 12-15 years.

Named after Kevin's Great Grandfather’s orchard property that is adjacent to the Woodvale vineyard. Tom Duke was meticulous in his care of his orchard, as are our growers in their vineyards, thus contributing to this high quality, blended Shiraz sourced from three vineyards across the Clare Valley. Its textural qualities and long finish from 10 days open fermentation on skins and basket pressing. Matured for 18 months in a selection of new and seasoned French oak hogsheads. Bottling the wine unfined and unfiltered further increases the wine's appeal.
