Small Victories Barossa Valley Rosé 2023

This wine is crisp and fresh, with a deliciously savory character. The nose reveals hints of strawberries and cream, complemented by subtle berry nuances. On the palate, vibrant just-ripe red berry fruits emerge, alongside musky tones. The finish is marked by a refreshing crunch of vibrant acidity, balanced with savory, almost creamy undertones from time on lees post-fermentation.

The Murtho Grenache was pressed immediately upon arrival at the winery for settling and fermentation on light lees. The Grenache and Mataro from Greenock were harvested together and pressed after several hours on skins to enhance color and flavor development. The wine spent six weeks on yeast lees post-fermentation, which helped to develop a creamy yet savory mouthfeel, adding complexity and texture to the final wine.
