Thorn-Clarke Shotfire Quartage 2020

This generous blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Cabernet Franc, 16% Merlot, and 10% Petit Verdot boasts a rich, deep red-purple color. Aromas of blackberries, satsuma plum, and anise fill the glass. On the palate, plush tannins are complemented by rich notes of cassis and blackcurrant, creating a wine with lavish density, complexity, and length. It is a wine that can be enjoyed now or laid down to age for many years.

The fruit was harvested at night and fermented in small capacity fermenters. After pressing, the wine was matured in French oak for 12 months. After six months, the parcels were racked and blended to create the final wine.
