Sardus Pater Terre Fenice Vermentino di Sardegna DOC 2024

Pale straw in colour with light green hues. The nose is elegant and lifted, showing floral and fruity notes of elderflower and white peach. The palate is smooth and generous, well balanced by fresh acidity and vibrant fruit, finishing with a delicate mineral note.

The vineyards lie at sea level in the lower Sulcis region, on alluvial soils with areas of basalt and volcanic rock. Vines average 20 years of age with a density of 5,000 plants per hectare. Yields are kept to 10 tonnes per hectare through early crop thinning. After harvest, grapes undergo cold maceration at 10°C, followed by a cool fermentation lasting about 10 days. The wine is aged briefly in stainless steel to preserve freshness before bottling.
