Pelissero Langhe Nebbiolo DOC 2022

Clear and bright with a purple-red core and paler edges showing Nebbiolo’s classic tannic lift. The nose is open and expressive, with fragrant notes of strawberry and raspberry leading the way. The palate is fresh and vibrant, with good persistence and the variety’s signature light astringency. Fine tannins are well balanced by gentle oak and savoury complexity. A long, stimulating finish rounds out this elegant and fruit-driven expression of Nebbiolo.

Fermentation is carried out with a focus on preserving Nebbiolo’s natural freshness, using short maceration times and strict temperature control throughout. Maturation takes place over 8 to 9 months, with 20–30% of the wine aged in barriques and the remainder in large 50 hL oak casks to maintain balance and structure. After blending, the wine rests in bottle for 2 months before release to allow full integration.
