Marchesi di Barolo Barbaresco Serragrilli DOCG 2020

The colour is a brilliant and vivid garnet red. The aroma opens with fruity notes reminiscent of blackberry and raspberry, with spicy scents of cinnamon and cloves in the background. It has an impressive powerful taste, tempered by an elegant character that reveals sweet and well-combined tannins.

The grapes, harvested exclusively by hand, are taken to the cellar and quickly destemmed and then delicately pressed. Fermentation with maceration takes place at a controlled temperature and frequent pumping over allows the must to
be enriched with all the polyphenolic compounds present in the skins. At the end of fermentation, once an optimal extraction level has been reached, we proceed with racking.
