Les Jamelles Pinot Noir Pays d'Oc

Les Jamelles Pinot Noir showcases a beautiful ruby red color and offers an aromatic nose of berries, floral notes, and a delicate hint of oak and vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied, long, and rich, with flavors of crushed red fruit (raspberry, cherry) and jammy plum, complemented by well-integrated, rounded tannins. Influenced by Catherine Delaunay's Burgundian origins, the wine stays true to its varietal, with red berry aromas and a mineral touch that bring pleasing freshness and balanced tannins.

The grapes for this wine are sourced from four terroirs: the mid-slope vineyards of the Hérault Valley and the foothills of the Pyrenees, which add richness and opulence; the Upper Aude Valley, contributing fruitiness, typicity, and freshness; and the Aude River plain, which imparts length and structure. Cold pre-fermentation maceration lasts about one week, followed by fermentation at controlled temperatures and 8 to 10 days of vatting. The wine is then aged in lightly toasted oak for 6 to 9 months to enhance complexity.
