Les Jamelles Chardonnay Pays d'Oc 2022

Les Jamelles Chardonnay is a fresh, fruity, and rich wine with a beautiful golden color. It offers aromas of apricot, pear, hazelnut, and white flowers, with a hint of butter on the finish. Subtle oak influences of candied chestnut, toffee, and praline are balanced by a lemony note. On the palate, it is complex and well-balanced, with remarkable freshness, minerality, and a long, satisfying finish.

Les Jamelles Chardonnay blends grapes from six terroirs, offering a balance of freshness, richness, and length. Cool regions like the Thau lagoon basin and Upper Aude Valley provide minerality, while areas near Narbonne and the Orb Valley add roundness. The wine undergoes slow fermentation and is aged for 9 months on oak and fine lees with bâtonnage. Part of the cuvée undergoes malolactic fermentation, adding buttery complexity.
