Donnafugata Dolce & Gabbana Tancredi Siciliane IGT Rosso 2020

Tancredi 2020 is an intense ruby red wine with a generous bouquet of ripe red fruits like cherry and plum, complemented by floral notes of pink rose. It also offers delicate hints of spice, including nutmeg and white pepper, along with sweet toasted aromas of vanilla and tobacco. On the palate, it is full, enveloping, and highly drinkable, with very fine tannins and a dense texture. The finish is persistent and elegant.

Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes undergo additional sorting on a vibrating table, followed by selection using a next-generation destemmer to remove green and overripe fruit. Fermentation takes place in steel with maceration on the skins for about 14 days at 28-30°C. The wine is then aged for 14 months in oak and at least 22 months in bottle before being released.
