Bertani Due Uve Pinot Grigio Sauvignon Venezia Giulia IGT 2021

This wine presents a straw-yellow color and offers a captivating nose with the signature tangy aromas of Sauvignon Blanc, featuring notes of sage, ripe peach, elderflower, and green pepper. On the palate, the Pinot Grigio takes center stage, delivering a well-balanced combination of lively tanginess and crisp acidity. The wine's structure is refreshing, with a smooth, lingering aftertaste that enhances its elegant and aromatic profile. Due Uve is a carefully crafted blend of Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc, with each grape variety selected to complement and enhance the other. Harvested at the start of September, the grapes are gently pressed, and fermentation occurs off the skins in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 14° to 16°C to preserve the fresh, aromatic qualities of the fruit. The wine is then aged in stainless steel containers until bottling, ensuring a crisp, clean profile. Following bottling, the wine undergoes bottle maturation, allowing it to develop further complexity and finesse before release.
