Argiolas Tradizione Pedera Monica di Sardegna DOC 2022

This wine displays an intense ruby red color with a characteristic undertone typical of the Monica grape. On the nose, it is vinous and intense, with a profile that is both expressive and characteristic of its origins. The palate is round and smooth, offering a balanced structure with a final aftertaste that almost leans towards sweetness. This wine showcases the unique characteristics of the variety, with a pleasant, lingering finish.

The grapes are hand-harvested in the early morning to ensure freshness. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 27-28°C for 8-10 days, with a moderate extraction of phenolic substances to achieve balance and complexity. Following fermentation, the wine is developed in cement tanks to preserve its purity and character, with a short period of maturation in small French oak casks, which adds subtle complexity and depth to the final wine.
