Argiolas Eccellenze Turriga Rosso Isola Dei Nuraghi IGT 2019

This wine has an intense ruby red color. The nose offers a rich, complex bouquet. On the palate, it is very well-structured and balanced, with a fine and persistent finish, delivering a smooth and elegant experience.

The grapes are sourced from the Turriga estate in the Selegas-Piscina Trigus countryside, 230 meters above sea level, where the soil is medium in limestone composition, with pebbles, stones, and loose rocky layers. The Mediterranean climate, characterized by mild winters, limited rainfall, and very hot, windy summers, creates ideal conditions for the varieties of Cannonau, Carignano, Bovale Sardo, and Malvasia Nera.

After a meticulous grape selection, fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature of 28-32°C, with maceration for 16-18 days using the delestage technique for optimal extraction. The wine is then aged for 18-24 months in new French oak barriques and refined in the bottle for 12-14 months to enhance its complexity and structure.
